Sachse Construction began working with Versace in 2014, and has since overseen the construction of stores in Michigan, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Sachse built Versace’s prototype store, which was designed with curved walls and an elegant glass shelving display as the focal point. Each project consisted of demolition, millwork, tile work, plaster work, plumbing, HVAC and electrical upgrades. The store concept features a number of high end materials that were delivered from overseas. To accommodate these specialized materials and the potential for delay, Sachse planned for and executed long lead procurement to ensure the store was completed without delay. This included being in direct contact with the suppliers. Additionally, each of these stores was built ‘inline’ featuring custom accommodations and met specific requirements for the particular mall they were built in.
