On a recent project at Towson Town Center in Towson, MD, Sachse Construction managed tenant improvements through demolition of an existing space prior to a complete tenant buildout. In conjunction with all other Tory Burch stores, this space also used materials from owner-supplied vendors, including white oak panel wall coverings and custom millwork. During construction, these items were identified as critical components within the schedule to ensure appropriate phasing of work around installation. Close communications between Sachse Construction and Tory Burch allowed the project team to install the paneling in a way that met Tory Burch design standards. The team installed one section at a time, not moving onto the next panel until all parties involved were completely satisfied with what was done. The project presented an unconventional storefront system comprised of finished carpentry, glass paneling, and brass inserts. Scrupulous organization amongst multiple skilled trades allowed the project team to efficiently install the unique storefront, resulting in an eye-catching exterior that stands out among the rest.
