Doug Henderson has been in the industry for over 30 years, and joined Sachse Construction & Development in 2001. Having worked as a licensed Carpenter, Superintendent and Project Manager, Doug has acquired a vast amount of jobsite safety knowledge that provides him with the experience needed to act as our Safety Director. Doug has worked closely over the years with MIOSHA and our insurance agency to create a detailed Safety Program, which he has used to train our entire organization. He has been certified by the Red Cross and several OSHA divisions, enabling him to provide proper training for our staff, our subcontractors, and the vendors that work on our job sites. He continually creates and updates our policies and visits our projects regularly to ensure that all safety measures are being carried out properly.

Doug is an active member of the Holly Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals, and also volunteers for several youth groups in the community.

Doug resides in Holly, Michigan with his wife and daughter where he enjoys family vacations and spending time with his grandchildren.
